Skye Reynolds 06/11/17 10:07:40 AM #1:	24 hours ago, I'd never heard the term "Bright Knight" used to describe the character that Adam West first played 51 years ago. Now, it seems like a fitting counterpart to the darker image that is currently popular and a statement that his Batman is just as valid as any other. I could easily see his death bringing about a mini "voice of a generation" response. Maybe there will be a new cartoon which brings a blue costumed Batman into the world of memes, selfies, and emojis. Maybe they'll insert a few more jokes into the next Batman movie without completely undercutting the darker tone. Maybe he'll be at an aquarium looking down a shark and make some quip that he, "left the repellent in the car."
