Pretty masterful trolling. Minimal aggression, no chance of being modded and he didn't even need to come back and reply to posts to keep the topic going unlike some rookies around here.

It was pretty obvious.

What's annoying is all these people like "oh video games what a waste of time why you wanna play video games all the time!!?!!" And then they go back to sitting on Facebook or watching whatever mindless show they like watching

Right? I feel pretty honored he made a whole topic to say that he doesn't like me.

?Ithought it was for this user:

I would be pretty embarrassed by this topic as a grown man. But to each his own, buddy.

The topic in question being made by TC about E3.

I think that sunhawk is very old to be /mainly/ excited about pikmin announcement at e3. Not video games, I play a lot of video games. But @Sunhawk in his desperate decades old journey for attention, had to make this thread.

Also pretty embarrassing that he called himself a "gamer". He went so far as to say something like "we gamers can be any age, it is a subculture that isnt for everyone and maybe you should go to a different forum" And @Sunhawk, I think that is sufficiently embarrassing. I cringed for you.

I think people should be embarrassed about having a waifu no matter what age they are.

Well, that goes along with with Nihilist is saying. The embarrassing and cringeworthy aspects of people having a "waifu" is the way they behave about it. If they simply treat it as a fetish and don't treat it seriously like a socially stunted (most people who talk about that) person does then that's fine... since many well adjusted adults have much weirder fetishes.

Right. I'm not going to begrudge someone for being fond of a particular character of a thing, but if, say...they admitted to being one of those people who publicly posts photos of one of their figurines being covered in jizz on reddit (I'm not joking btw) I'm certainly not going to be sympathetic when people find that person distasteful, putting it mildly.

You reap what you sow, and if what you sow is a complete lack of etiquette/restraint...

I think it's more than a fetish to tell people that a fictional character is your significant other.

That feels different than just imagining that you are having sex with them or something.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone actually go so far as to consider their waifu their actual significant other.

I misread your post. Yeah, legit having a "waifu" is way different than liking. The latter is more akin to just liking a type of cartoon porn or archetype. The former is borderline psychotic if serious. The latter is also not good like anything if obsessed over which most waifu types do

I know of that one guy in Japan who married his dating sim.

I mean yeah, for most people that go on about that stuff its all a harmless joke/for funsies, but lets not forget we're on the internet. You never know how crazy the next person you talk to really is.

I'm fine with video games, but anything that is online and does not have a finite ending can go take a hike. Also I prefer my SNES to anything since. Short games = more time for everything else. Online gaming is mostly pointless.

Anime / manga is LOLworthy and can GTFO

Popcorn movies? Watch them within reason and trim the fat. Only blockbusters I see at cinemas are superheroes and the odd Ripley Scott / Chris Nolan flick. No Transformers or animated movies or other big budget nonsense.

Comics? No problem, just don't become a neckbeard fatty and be sure to supplement those comics with some real books as well.

WTF is a waifu? Is that when you imagine wifing up an anime chick? GTFO nerds.
