I used to jam Tekken 6 at the arcade a lot and thought I was pretty decent, but shit, bit of a struggle.

It's all good fun though, definitely feel like the more I play, the more it's coming together. Slowly.

Pretty much any fighting game is humbling online for me. I can git gud among a group of friends but when I get thrown in with people who do nothing but main one fighter for hours a day every day until they perfect them I just get absolutely annihilated.

Nah he's not. Was he from Tekken 3? There's been some great memorable characters thourghout the series, huh. Shame Lei Wulong isn't in it, I thought he was a Tekken staple...

Anyone who picks Dr B is either doing it as a joke, or is going to tear you apart within a handful of seconds. Sometimes both.

I think I lost 20 in a row before finally winning online in Tekken Tag 2. Lol, at that point I felt bad for my opponent because it meant he was even worse than me.

a lot of times the online fighters will let me win a round on purpose just to fuck with me

I've never really "tried" that hard at fighting games though, so about anyone on here can probably beat me

I was feeling like I might want to get it but I know I wouldn't put in the work needed to get good/decent and would end up pretty much wasting 60 bucks.

I played Skullgirls quite a bit thanks to a friend getting me into it so I know the "basics" of fighting games pretty well by now but I know every one is different.

Tekken is radically different thanks to it being 3d, slow normals, the wall mechanic, and jumping being incredibly dumb 99% of the time. Game has also 1fs with EWGF and learning the movement is weird (to me at least). KBD feels weird compared to IADs in other games

KBD = korean back dash
