best bud in college was an Iranian who spoke Farsi, he wasn't religious though but wouldn't eat pork ( he was raised Muslim but unsure if he wanted to keep being a muslim and drank etc)

I knew another guy who was very devout though

and in High School I also had a Muslim friend although he never discussed his stance so idk if he was devout or not

my first boss was from Pakistan although he also wasn't religious despite being raised Muslim all his life

in retrospect I probably met more Muslims than many writers of buzzfeed ever have

infact there was this Muslim girl in hs I had a crush on, she was even kinda flirty

but pretty sure she was on the more conservative spectrum, her facebook later went private and things of such nature (private to friends I mean even)

no, I have. just one though. :o he was actually a really nice guy. he was in my class at school. One time when i got sick and passed out in class he was the only person who stayed behind after school was over to see if I was alright.

Actually, I'm not sure if he was even muslim. he had a muslim sounding name though.

I did a quick google check about Muslims in Alaska because this made me curious. One of the first articles that came up was debating about how Alaskans should handle Ramadan because of how many daylight hours we get. Fasting for 20 hours isn't good for the kids/eldery.

Don't recall if he was a regular Muslim or a Farrakhan version Muslim.

He and this Christian lady use to argue about Jesus vs Muhammad all the time.

Anyway the nonsense lead me into leaning towards Deism when it comes to God.

I've met some Arabs but only briefly, never got to know them well enough to ask.

On the flip side, I've met lots of non-Arabs that I never asked too so maybe some of those were.

I've never spoken to a Muslim but I imagine things have gotten worse now that they've become a political tool.
