Probably one of the most 'real' couples in sitcom history, while still managing to be funny. The other characters (kids, sister, etc) are meh and some of the plotlines are cliché, but 9/10 just for the Dan/Rosanne interactions.

8. It had some really good highs and some great stories. It also had some decent continuity and other storylines. Unfortunately, the downs were ridiculous bad (coughLastSeasoncough) and even the clever ending can't fix that.

In the 80's most sitcom families were either upper middle class or straight up rich. Programs like Rosanne and Married With Children were a refreshing change of pace.

7/10

Some really, really funny episodes and moments. And the lower middle-class storyline is MUCH better than 99% of Sitcoms which is beautiful skinny people who magically always somehow have money
