Went up vines, swing on vines, hunter shot at "snake", new Heartless, now I don't know where to go.

Yeah, they're extra XP.

I forgot exactly where but I think you might have to make your way back to camp. Also, I think if you go to the treehouse you can fight Sabor in an optional fight.

I think you gotta go back to the tent, or you have to go back up the vines again, one or the other.

It's not optional, going to the treehouse is one of the steps necessary to advancing the story.

Yeah, tournaments are slowly unlocked the further you progress in the story. It's a great place to level grind though, especially late game after you've unlocked the Hades tournament.

I knew coming into this topic you were going to say Deep Jungle. There's that one spot on that world that doesn't clearly tell you where to go. I spent forever figuring out where to go when I was younger.

Yeah the jungle vines were annoying as hell.

It's not even a complex layout. It's just every direction looks the same so as soon as you move the camera you don't know which way to go anymore.

The giant puffball enemies are annoying but more problematic is that stupid fast-current water tunnel.

If you complete Monstro and Halloween Town you can skip Atlantica entirely. I finished Hollow Bastion and Neverland and then went back to Atlantica and finished it pretty quickly.

Also FYI - you have to use the dolphin to advance the story that's also as annoying as Deep Jungle's progression.

f*** Monstro.

I can agree with this. The water tunnel was annoying but then again most of the levels had something BS-ly annoying in them.

But Monstro? Not a single redeeming thing about that level. Ok I take that back, the fakeout Pinocchio death was pretty great but that was literally in a cutscene.
