The parts where it actually let's you do as you please are great. Unfortunately there is way too many on rails segments with repetitive dialogue.

There will be like three in game days in a row where you can't do anything but listen to your team repeat the same information. Then you receive reminder texts from your dickhead friends repeating it every day from then on. Then when you finish up, they text you worrying about if it'll work out. This results in hours of padded gameplay.

I doubt the padding took very long to add.

The gameplay is great, the battle system is amazing and I love the style but the story isn't great Morgana is a little annoying bitch, the big reverse is obvious as fuck and poorly done and the ending, while interesting, lacks punch as it doesn't really tie together with any main theme. Also, did I mention Morgana is a fucking litte bitch that almost ruins the game? No need for him to become Joker's 'voice' and his bullshit in Haru's dungeon infuriates me. Also the way the game constantly shit on Ryuji pissed me off. The cast overall wasn't nearly as great as P4 or 3. I give the game a 7.

ryuji and morgana are kind of the low points of the team. everyone else is fine even linkable

, but where is the option tell ryuji to fucking chill with megaphone announcing he's a phantom thief in public. IMO he's close to the moon social link with his attitude about being a phantom thief. But he at least chills out about it after the casino dungeon, but by then the annoyance had set in. All the early teammates are kind of weak. Ann's social link is like all over the place in what she wants to do

40 hours deep and I'd say its really good!
A game that has managed more than 10 hours from hasn't crossed my way for a while.

I've never experienced a game as beautiful as Persona 5 before. The only other game that even came close was Final Fantasy X.
