While I'm impressed with the cross-platform version variations, I'm only in this for the PS4 version, personally. And I've gotta say -- really, I can't stop myself, it's too good -- this game is shaping up to be absolutely beautiful. They really got a firm grasp of the engine, and the timeless art style translates well.

I admit, it's a little strange seeing the 2017 console entry lack orchestral music when 2006's title had it.

Otherwise though, I'm loving the PS4 version.

I mean the japanese version of DQ8 wasn't orchestral either

that was added only to the US version (as well as the voice acting)

He most likely does have a problem with Koreans and Chinese, but the reason we haven't gotten orchestrated music in the recent remakes has nothing to do with race and everything to do with his strict music licensing and ownership policies. He's the chairman of one of Japan's large recording industry unions.
