Good list, lack of Purple Rain and Controversy is an absolute scandal though. I could never take the place of your man is one of my faves as well.

There are some hits (Controversy, LRC, Purple Rain) I left off just 'cause I'm sick of hearing 'em. Then there are some albums that are so consistently good (Sign O the Times, Purple Rain, etc.) that I had to vet entries a bit more, just to have a good mix. I could probably put a few more SOTT songs on, though -- I always liked tracks like "The Cross," for instance.

But yeah, I could probably relisten to Controversy and 1999 to see if there's anything else that jumps out at me. I know some people absolutely love "Lady Cab Driver," to name one.

There's nothing wrong with the song; I just don't want to put the entire album on the playlist, as that kinda defeats the point of mixing and matching. I definitely like certain tracks (like Beautiful Ones) way more, so I'm okay with giving them precedence. Besides, I shuffle the playlist, so "this is a good last track" doesn't apply. :P

Listened to Black Sweat again -- still not a huge fan. "The Word" was pretty good, though...dunno how I slept on that the first time.
