My dad was rich and still is. It's why my mother married him besides his good looks. Love came later with them rofl.

I make good money, but nowhere near what he pulled in. Only thing we have in common in that regard is we both started from scratch. My folks got money, but I never saw any of it after I moved away. They weren't going to fund any of their gay son's goals until I promised to tie myself down with a woman and give up fucking guys.

I'm still gay.

My dad was kind of fucked over by his parents, so him by default. Immigrated to the US when he was 10, his parents didn't pay for his college career so he had to get a job at 16 and work through college.

For me, my parents did as much as they could to make my life easier. Moved from NYC to NJ so I wouldn't have a New York public school education, got financial aid to pay for my college, etc.

Same. My dad was a fighter pilot for a 3rd world Air Force, living and training with Russian military, who spoke like 3-4 languages and already had 1 kid before he married my mom. Also he was alive during a civil war in Africa.

So him.

My dad was further along in life, already married with kids and a few years into his career. The flip side of that argument was that he lived in a trailer and had no money because he had two kids...

So it depends on your perspective I guess. I have more money than he did at this point and live in a nicer house but he had a family started. So I'll give him the edge.

Yes actually, several times in their marriage. He doesn't mind and basically takes pride in it. He described their relationship as a "gauge" for keeping himself successful. He figures if he can still please her, than he's not selling himself short in ability. Thankfully my mother doesn't have Kardashian level demands, just typical rich bitch standards which my dad can cover. And to be fair, my mother's kept up her side of the bargain anyway. She stays pretty for her age and takes care of the social obligations in their lives. Although I'm pretty sure they've cheated on each other over the years. Classic Texan yuppy couple.

It's why I try not to visit.

My dad. At my age he had a decent job, was married, and had 2 kids.
Me, I've got a basic job, that's it.

However...

This is also true. He is a despicable person, and was worse back then. Although, he did manage to have friends, and find women to cheat with... So even socially he is better.
