The awesome looking alien bounty hunter game that got cancelled by Bethesda.
Eurogamer reached out to some of the developers and they explained to them how the game's story was going to go down and the ideas they had for it.

I mean, who gives a fuck? The game isn't ever coming out.

-Killian (the main character) is abducted and spends a decade on an alien planet where he's recognized as a notorious bounty hunter.

-Killian thought he was the only human but starts seeing Tommy (the main character of the first Prey game) using his spirit form to communicate with Killian and ask for his help as he is being held prisoner.

-Killian rescues Tommy and Tommy warns him of a super weapon that is being used to target Earth, so they go to stop it.

-(Twist) While fighting their way through the weapon, Killian finds multiple dead bodies of himself. Tommy explains that this is not the first time he and Killian met and that they have tried to stop this thing for years and Killian has died hundreds of times. Every time Killian dies, he comes back as a clone in his safe house with a bit of his memory loss (that's how death works in the game too).

-The manage to successfully destroy the weapon but Killian is forced to jump out into space where begins to slowly die. So he uses him bounty capture teleportation device on himself and punch the coordinates to Earth.

-(Ending) Back on Earth, Killian retires, starts a family and lives a happy life. He dies a peaceful death surrounded by his loved ones only to respawn back on the alien planet in a new body.

The game looked cool as hell. I remember my excitement after seeing the first trailer, then my greater level of disappointment after hearing of its cancellation.
