Of all the criticism she got, the one from Melania Trump resonated with me the most. What the hell kind of deranged psychopath would find what she did as "funny"?

I feel inclined to believe she should not be fired/ousted/receive death threats, etc. and I do think she's a decent comedian. I watched her press conference, and I do feel some sympathy towards her current situation.

That being said, much of what was discussed during the press conference (from her lawyer and her) has been happening to people on the conservative spectrum for YEARS. Or even to people who say something that can remotely be construed as racist. Just a few days ago, a writer was FIRED because he tweeted on his personal account saying 'I feel uncomfortable an asian man won a race on memorial day'

You used to be able to talk about pretty much anything without risk of loosing your job (regardless of political affiliation). And I think those times should return.

But given the nature of our current climate, she ultimately has no one to blame but the leftists she supports. So in a sense, I really couldn't care less.
