In all honesty, Selvaria could probably block the shell from behind her shield and mitigate a lot of the effects from just being straight up hit with it. Her lance and shield make her a super soldier with super strength and durability. It takes another valkyrie like her to physically overpower her in-game.

Neptune is literally beside herself seeing both Richter and Alucard and would probably be doing the silly voice for shits and giggles even if the Plan wasn't compelling her to.

My big argument, Gravy, past the shell is that "any initial volley, Alucard dodges, and Wily continues to facetank whilst doing damage". Wily and Giga Bowser are essentially immune to the disruption effect that the shell provides, and Mantis is just as able bodied as the sith to deal with shell fuckery.

However, what this means is that whilst everyone has to deal with the shell, Wily can continue playing a mean disruption game. Look back at the Wily Machine 10 video - giant missiles, a constant volley of back-laden mortars, frontal cannons, homing missiles. They're goofy (or GIANT ASS MISSILES), but they're constant, and Wily doesn't flinch when the Mega Buster (decidedly stronger than the shell due to its piercing capabilities) constantly hits him in the face. The issue is that Team Flynn never really has the chance to get started, and their most durable - Neptune - is probably stuck in the THIS IS AWESOME *clap clap clapclapclap* camp due to her personality and being SotN'd. Meanwhile, Bowser just has to spin in his shell to do some damage - Bowser's Inside Story lets Bowser curl up completely into a shell ball.

That at Giga Bowser's size, actively malicious, without a sith to dodge if she's tangling with the Shell 1.0? I just don't see the point where that doesn't do massive damage until Bowser goes down... at which point you have the other tank and a likely fresh or moderately damaged (if you don't buy shellmageddon) Heihachi and Alucard.

Okay yeah it's been fun but.

Between Selvaria's strength, Haseo's strength, and Jaesa being able to either use her lightsaber or TK, and all of them having boosted strength/reflexes, they totally have the wherewithal to either win ping-pong or (in Jaesa's case) cut up the shell. And then they just win the fight.

Team Flynn.

Gonna be honest, that shell isn't hitting harder than a tank shell like unbuffed Selvaria can already hit away, and is as liable to be batted away and do damage to the other team or simply shatter. Nevermind with buffs and all those crazy strong teammates like Flynn, Nep, and Haseo.

Past that, they just utterly stomp this.
