Just caught a sample of Logan before I watch the movie and apparently Logan is a limo driver (is this even an xmen/comic book movie?) and is driving a bunch of drunk girls seemingly going to prom and one of them flashes him? What? I thought that was so bizarre I had to ask what I'm in for with this movie.

no it probably got rated R for all the horrible violence, and they decided to add boobs at that point because might as well.

I liked the wolverine's violence (I watched the R rated uncut dvd release) with wolverine actually using his claws and stabbing/slashing/slicing people. With blood.

Is this one gonna promise anything like that? Gotta say I'm so not a fan of post apocalyptic looking wastelands and sand everywhere (eg fallouts or the recent mad max) because I get enough of that concurrently at home, but I just love wolverine hugh Jackman so much I'll sit through anything.

The movie is about Wolverine hiding in Mexico from the authorities. That's where the majority of the desert stuff takes place. He leaves Mexico shortly after the beginning. --- ... It's in the desert for a portion of the movie but they travel. As far as the violence it's not like the r rated cut of the wolverine which just had some of that tacked on at the end. This one was made with the r rating in mind and his claws are put to good use. I'd recommend checking it out.
