well, that's the first time i've seen on screen human death on a kids cartoon. although averted that lars was resurrected, but still, that was pretty brutal for a CN's show. not even adventure time did that. well, there are alot of deaths, but usually aren't human or humanoid looking and on screen.

Do you think Yellow Diamond did it? These are the possibilities I see, in order or which I think is most likely.

1. Yellow Diamond at one point suspected something was fishy about Pink's death, but has suppressed that thought. She wants to accept that Rose is responsible, and is subconsciously pushing for an ASAP execution to finally get closure and fully commit to the belief that Pink is avenged.

2. Yellow Diamond knows that White Diamond killed Pink. She's covering for her and using Rose as a scapegoat, because she can't lose another sister.

3. Yellow Diamond just straight up thinks Rose did it and wants to be done with her.

4. Yellow Diamond killed Pink Diamond.

Technically not a bomb, but yes, yes I did, and it was amazing.

I dunno if Yellow Diamond did it, but I think she at least knows something about what really happened and is trying to cover it up.

A 6th possibility is that Rose was indeed involved in the shattering of Pink Diamond, but because Pink Diamond wanted her to do so. I can't yet pin down why that would be, but it is possible, given how even the Crystal Gems think Rose did it. If Rose didn't really do it, why would they of all people think she did? Sure, she kept secrets, but I think that'd be pushing it.

That's some stuff I liked from the numerous theory videos I watched on the subject. Though the latter also contains my personal reasoning and thoughts.

Either 2 or 4 for me.

First off, blue diamond said pink was shattered with a sword and dismissing steven's theory of rose usin breaking point.

If you remember bismuth's words about rose's sword she said it will always cut trough a gem's form, but not their gems. So if pink was shattered with a sword, thatd impossible.

Plus dont think a quartz can even shatter diamond without a breaking point. Probably only a diamond can, like how we cut diamonds with diamond head drills and cutters

I'd seen all sorts of theories about the origin of Lion, and none of them turned out to be true.

Something I loved about Lars' Head is all the things that Steven figured out himself. Like the above thing, as well as that he decided to check if Lars' hair had magic, rather than discovering it by mistake.

Wait, what I just looked it up the one where they're fighting the lasers? He stabs the things he's riding on, the thing poofs, he crashes into a pillar and falls and that kills him even though in that very scene he survived bigger crashes?

What? He just destroyed a bunch of them with a log which clearly detonated and saw one get destroyed by another machine detonating beside it.
While him rescuing the others was badass his "death" scene was just so poorly done

Yeah, I think Yellow Diamond is just an angry person in general. It seems to me where Blue Diamond sank into depression and withdrawal, Yellow Diamond grew angry and spiteful. Perhaps she knows something about Pink Diamond's death that makes her angry, because she cannot share it? Either that, or she refuses to even consider the idea.
It's clear that line of thinking never occurred to Blue Diamond, because she was genuinely shocked by the implication. She's probably going to start really digging into it now though. It's clear she's obsessed with Pink Diamond's death.

Steven Universe is surprisingly really good. I remember seeing the ads for when it started and I was like "what the fuck is this bullshit?? A fat kid with a narcissism complex, like Clarence?" Turns out that they show does a really, really good job handling real world issues and even next-level (as in above basic bullshit) social conversations in a very nice way. The conversation when Amethyst and Steven fused about being broken individuals as an example. I wasn't fucking blown away.


So yeah, despite any of the hate that show gets, that creator and writer get a fucking gold star from me.
