To be fair, I'm 99% sure you can't blame Capcom for the roster problems, especially the no X-Men, because Marvel are the ones telling them what characters they can and can't use.

The Capcom roster sucks too.

I suppose they could have been in a scenario where they had to cut Capcom characters to make up for the cut X-Men and Doctor Doom so the roster was even but that sounds even worse lol.

So some dude on CE posts a screenshot of a dude who won't gove any details but claims there will be no Wolverine, Storm, Magneto or Cyclops in the next MvC game and not one person is skeptical.

- 2 Street Fighter characters
- 2 Resident Evil characters
- 4 female characters total
- No Black Panther (no black characters at all apparently?)

Good point. Losing half your sales is an acceptable consequence of having a OC few people on Internet message boards complain that Wolverine isn't in the MCU.

If they just want an MCU fighting game, they should just make a Civil War 2 fighting game and leave Capcom the fuck out of it.

Injustice 2 turned out incredible. There is no reason that Marvel characters can't stand on their own in a game.

The full roster was posted as well.

And for what it's worth, Ryce was the guy who leaked the existence of the game in the first place, as well as early details. He's been consistently reliable. He's the only leaker I'd trust other than Lupinko, who leaked the MvC3 roster.

I'm still buying it because I already have the infinity gem edition pre ordered. That shit looks sick as fuck.

I'm just really hoping there's at least a couple more characters not yet really known and hopefully the DLC has good characters and not garbage

Uh no the roster is pretty meaningless if you actually play the games instead of just getting hype about them for a moment then forgetting they exist, a game with random nobodies that plays well is infinitely better than a shit game with recognizable names

The point is that the franchise is taking a major step backwards by lacking all those fighters. MvC2 & 3 had complete rosters and are two of the best fighting games ever made.
