Like sometimes when the person asks to step back and talk to their family/adviser, sometimes the sharks allow it and sometimes they don't. Why?

And sometimes they make an offer to someone, then next episode a similar situation arises and they go out.

I would suck ass as an entrepreneur.

Part of it is probably from the impression each person makes on them and part of it is probably from the editing

They invest or don't invest in people on whims sometimes. They'll say something like "I don't like chocolate so even though your business is rock solid I don't want to invest. Sorry." Lol

It's like how they sometimes offer a deal and demand an answer before anyone else offers. That's just how it is. They can impose whatever condition with their money.

Everything is entirely dependant on what will get them the best deal. There is like two rules in the tank and they pretty much only benefit the sharks.

The people usually ignore them and ask everyone else for their offers first anyway

Yeah, I always thought that was super scummy. Damon and Lori do it constantly. Even from an analyst point of view though, they are just trying to cover their interest by throwing their position around, but it really just shows everyone their hand.

Honestly, he's a horrible person, but I respect him more than Lori or Damon because he is at least blunt and honest about it. Damon and Lori are all about pretending to be altruistic and compliment everyone on their businesses and then make up some weird ass excuse as to why they aren't interested. Kevin is evil and insane, but he's honest about it.

The only ones that strike me as in the upper part of the character alignment sheet are Mark (dumb and blunt but seems nice) and Barbara (basically nice, delicate about being honest) and Chris (a bit egotistical, but willing to hear most people out).

I'd reluctantly place Kevin as part of that alignment. Occasionally he explains, albeit rudely, why an idea may be a bad one and they might learn something from it at least. I feel bad for Chris though lol. To me it's like they all kinda shit on him (worse than Robert lol) and his credibility as a Shark. Combine that with the denouncements Uber gets nowadays and ya start feeling sorry for the guy.
