That used to be true and held for many years, but these days the only people that tend to know about LUE have been on the site for at least 10 years. Also everyone who has been here knows better about it being a super awesome place. I have my doubts much would changed if it was opened up, since that doesn't really happen on community boards either. For the most part people stay if they like the community or leave if they aren't feeling it. LUE wouldn't be an exception. So you'd have a ton more risque content on LUE back in the day compared to the rest of the site. But nowadays, it doesn't have any special lax rules or anything, because those lax rules are site wide now. So if it opened up, it's not like it'd be anything new.
