In the Human Village, she used this ability to make villagers extremely irritable and short-tempered, attacking each other for trivial reasons. She can also use this madness to increase the strength of other fairies and herself. When confronted by The Three Fairies of Light, Clownpiece explains her power to drive people mad, and mentions that she is from Hell, but doesn't want to return there. At the mention of pranking opportunities, however, Clownpiece expresses curiosity toward their abilities, and they introduce themselves. However, Clownpiece fails to comprehend and memorize their fairly simple introduction, so Sunny Milk tells her not to worry about it. I probably wouldn't have noticed any similarities to the US flag if I were playing, but taking a look, I definitely see a lot of reds, whites, blues, stripes, stars, etc. It's kinda neat that the US-inspired character is one of the strongest. Oh, no, I played a little bit of The Embodiment of The Scarlet Devil on Easy died to the rainbow girl, then lost all hope of ever playing another game again. ;_; I hopped onto the Touhou wiki because I remember hearing about how there were humans and youkai, and I was curious about their relationship in the story, then suddenly I found myself checking out a whole bunch of other stuff. ^^ I can relate though. After touhou 2 and 6-10 the sheer difficulty (since I'm trash at shmups) made me give it up for awhile and then only after learning about how unique clownpiece is did I go back and play 15. The second game's one of the hardest? Really? And after that... I went back and played 4 and 5 so I could actually experience Bad Apple for myself and then put it back on hiatus after that lol. I need to get a better computer, my keys on my current one are too small. Oh, the famous "Bad Apple" track is on 4 and 5? I'm surprised it's been around that long... Yeah it gets exponentially harder. Your skill starts to get exponentially better though since it's more about memorization than anything. You eventually go from wasting all your continues before hitting stage 5, making it to stage 5 but dying to the boss, making it to stage 6 and dying to the boss (stage 6s are usually short), clearing the boss with continues, getting to stage 5 without continues, beating stage 5 without continues, getting to the last part of the final boss without continues, beating the game without continues. But yeah, it's a chore and I intend to use cheat engine to just read the story if I get too pissed from now on. And no, the second isn't one of the hardest (though some say it could be because the controls were much different than later, for example you can't focus and you have to spam the shot button instead of holding it down), those are just all the games I've played. Completely missed out on 10-14. Yep, Bad Apple was during the PC-98 retconned times. It's actually a complete mystery how that theme of all things became so big since the stage is nothing special and the boss itself, Elly, is pretty much lost to history anyway.
