The central train station in Atlanta is Five Points and it is surrounded by homeless people. I walk past there almost everyday.
On one side of the station is a particular group of homeless people that are a bit too "direct" in their approach in that they'll just stick their hand out and move towards you and try to block your path without saying anything.

One of them came towards me and I gave him a energy bar I've been meaning to get rid of. He examined it for a while, looked at me in disbelief and was like, "Get this bullshit out of here," and chucked it on the ground back in my direction. Then he walked off mumbling mean things. I've never heard them talk before but it was both a scary and funny experience. I've found my new hobby.
