Seriously though the movie is great. I guess most of the people here wouldn't have heard of it, let alone watched it though.

What is it about? An angel that lays an egg? There's a girl in a strange, abandoned land who is taking care of a large egg. One day a young man shows up and starts following her around, asking her about the egg and what might be inside. I guess I should say it's too "artsy" to be enjoyed by most people, there are only two characters and neither of them speak much, things like that, but that's what I like so much about it. That and the art is wonderful, it's done by Yoshitaka Amano, the Final Fantasy (before 7 anyways) guy. --- Nil- ... Copied to Clipboard!

I vaguely remember hearing about that back when I was still into anime (late-'90s to early-'00s). I'm not a fan of Amano's work. I have the first 14 or so volumes of the Vampire Hunter D novels, and it's hard for me to even figure out what's going on in many of his illustrations.

I very much enjoyed Angel's Egg when I watched it. Definitely not my favorite though. It is quite unique but many people will find it boring. There is no action and barely any spoken lines.
