Email exchange:

ME: Hello. I renewed my license on April 3, 2017 and have not yet received my plastic copy in the mail. Thanks.

DMV: The license issued 040317 was returned 052217 saying not deliverable as addressed. We have [redacted for CE] in Auburn as your mailing address. If that is incorrect you will need to purchase a duplicate license and provide a valid mailing address.

ME: That is the correct mailing address.

DMV: You gave the address in Eufaula as your mailing address when the license was issued. If you receive mail in Auburn you will need to purchase a duplicate license and provide the correct mailing address.

ME: In these two emails I've received, I've been told both "We have [redacted for CE] in Auburn as your mailing address" and "You gave the address in Eufaula as your mailing address when the license was issued." Which one is it? They are both valid addresses. I get mail at both places. I am not purchasing a duplicate license because someone at the DMV or post office messed up. Please help me resolve this. Thank you.

The Maryland DMV gave me two driver licenses: one that was the correct one I've been using all along, and one tied to my car, so legally my car belonged to someone else who also happened to be me.

The point is that I got my vehicle registration suspended because they sent the notice to an old address because it never got updated because of what I mentioned.

I don't blame you guys for not caring, but I just gotta say 1) They clearly either lied or don't have their shit together based on the conflicting info about which mailing address I gave, and 2) what difference would buying a duplicate make if I'm just going to give them one if the two same addresses they already have. I'm pretty blasted over this fuckery.
