My "meat mix" is 1 egg per 1&1/4 lb of meat, plus garlic powder, pepper and chopped onion.

Never had a leftover burger at a cookout.

Adding an egg is nothing new. I actually made turkey burgers last night and took the easy way out and added a packet of hidden valley ranch seasoning to it.

They were delicious.

Egg can actually water down the taste a bit, although it's not horrid.

I like to use 80% beef, with spices mixed in, and a steak sauce or BBQ sauce mixed in the burger itself.

This makes the burger Juicy, but dosn't take away from it's flavor at all.
