As a White man, I find it seriously offensive how we're portrayed. No one in their right mind, regardless of race or culture, would go investigate an on-going scary noise and obviously trap deep in the basement. No one! However, Hollywood horror movies always have White people so curious to go see and more than likely they have one person go see what's going on alone.

"Hey Josh there's a scary ass rustling and moaning noise coming from the cellar. Why don't you go check it out by yourself?"

"LAWLZ no prob it's prolly just the wind".


I'm even more offended that every White person in this world seems to graciously accept this. Even worst they'll say something incredibly dumb such as "It's okay because we survive in the end because we're White". Like WTF?
