Depends on the song.

Here is an example..
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQMdu1a0SPU

The part that gave me chills is where 2pac's voice is slowed and laid over his lyrics "Ignores me." is the first one you'll hear and it continues on." and also the lyrics from this song give me chills, I rather not say why but lets say I can closely relate.

Have before. Many times, actually.

The best one was this classical piece we played in high school titled "To Walk with Wings" by Julie Giroux. There's a part near the end where layers and layers of complex staccotto rhythms and unusual melodies keep stacking on top of each other until the spaces between notes disappear as they're filled by another instrument playing a different part. The coup de grace is this soaring euph part that has a series of two-measure sustained notes, each a major or minor second off from the last, offset from the phrase by one measure and following a decrescendo, crescendo pattern to emphasize the note change. This then leads into a change in rhythm with each note accented.

The little hairs stood up on my arms every single time.

You can look up the piece on youtube if you want, because it actually is really cool, but to truly appreciate it, you gotta be that euph player.

Good one! I've never heard that piece before, it sounds great. I bet that was fun.

Stravinsky's Firebird Suite will always give me chills. As will Yoshimatsu's piano concerto.

Stravinsky's Firebird Suite

Just listened to the 1919 one. Was this written for a play? Anyway, yeah the ending got me hard. I'll have to check out that other suggestion later.

Yup. Stravinsky wrote it in cooperation with a Russian ballet program founder, Sergei Diaghilev. Their goal was to bring more modernized Russian styled dance and music to the western world. It was very well recieved. Brilliant orchestration as well.

Yeah Stravinsky is fantastic. The Firebird Suite is a favorite of mine for sure.

I've experienced chills so many times lol, most intensely while listening to live classical music.
