People considered Foley a God at the time because he did hardcore matches but yes he was a jobber.

they couldn't even bother to work jinder spending the past five years losing or why the bollywood boyz decided to start helping him win matches into the "decent story".

becky lynch vs. natalya's welcoming committee is a more riveting story than jinder and orton's feud

in wwe no. Mick foley made his name basically feuding with the undertaker, doing high risk stunts that have probably shortened his life. He feuded with a lot of the top stars

Part of the big deal is if you are wrapped up in the prestige of the title, you see it as a waste. He isn't very good in the ring or on the mic. His whole diversity promo doesn't make sense given the loudest crowd entrace was probably for Nakamura(japanese), and Naomi(black) gets a good reaction as well.

Jinder went from a jobber who was released by the company, to getting released from a brand, to now getting the title. That has been his career path

but that is only if you take wrestling seriously. And why the fuck should you do that?

the cynic in me is saying this is just so the wwe can try and open up to the market in India.

How did he go from the Three Man Band to world champ? I only passively/casually follow whats going on. I haven't really seen anything since Wrestlemania. In fact I don't think he even wrestled then.

2) Foley was incredibly over as Mankind and him beating the Rock for the WWE Championship is probably the biggest pop any weekly wrestling TV show has ever seen.

3MB was awhile ago. He got cut, got super big, came back, feuded with Heath Slater and Rusev a little bit, jobbed mostly, got moved to SDL, won a 6-man match (without any big stars in it) to become #1 contender, and that's basically what started his push.

No, that's not how it works. People want new talents they're actually invested in and actually get proper buildup to be champ. Jinder Mahal is good at nothing besides being tall and being roided up. He has no charisma, nobody gives as a rat's ass about him, and he's a below average wrestler who can't talk worth a shit and was booked as a jobber for the longest time. Now he won a belt that guys like Roddy Piper, Mr. Perfect and the British Bulldog have never touched just for 'kicks'. You don't see how absolutely foolish this makes WWE look?

So what you mean is you want someone new that only you subjectively like? Well it's not anyone else's fault you guys made a dumb blanket statement such as "We want new talent". Say what you mean.

No you just struggle with reading between the lines. Did you think that when people say "we want new talent to get pushed" every time Cena beats a new guy, that they want people like El Torito and Hornswoggle to be champions?

This man has had no buildup whatsoever. Just a month or so ago he was a Raw superstar jobbing to Finn Balor and Sami Zayn. Now all of a sudden he's champ because... it's funny? I mean yeah, I guess it's pretty funny. It opens up more possibilities like Nakamura winning the Women's championship.

I bet if you're favorite wrestler got the Jinder treatment you wouldn't complain.
