Someone on Vita board pointed out that even with the same PSN account active, two systems could also do local multiplayer.

Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny and Gladiator Begins are GREAT fun.

Gladiator Begins is not as fun if you aren't good at it though, but I guess the same could be said for Soul Calibur, though I'd argue that the significant lack of fun would be far less then if you didn't know hot to play Gladiator Begins.

Half-minute Hero is great for a few rounds, but long-time play sessions won't be that fun after awhile.

Patapon is fun, Power Stone Collection is GREAT fun.

Don't think I really need to speak on Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max, it's just a great game, period.

Tekken 6 is pretty good.

Killzone: Mercenary is awesome to play, but I can't remember if you can play it in ad-hoc, it'd be better to find out which games are ad-hoc and which aren't.

Risk of Rain, I've heard good things about it.

Not sure about Muramasa Rebirth, but Dragon's Crown is amazingly fun in ad-hoc.

This is all I'll post for now, not too inclined to go in-depth for a lot of those, although they are all incredibly fun.

However I did do a review on Gladiator Begins that you can find here: https://www.gamefaqs.com/psp/969694-gladiator-begins/reviews/163463

Not that you'll need it, since it seems like you already have all these games, but these are just my opinions on some really fun games you could try it with friends.

Thanks for the detailed response. That should give me some stuff to try in Ad Hoc. :)

Only one I won't do with it is Risk of Rain, since PSTV supports multiple players on a single system for that game. :)
