Couldn't porn companies and the like target the more popular porn websites in order to have them closed down?

How come places like the hub are able to have lots of videos from porn websites, with the videos rarely being taken down?

So instead they just decide to make money of the inevitable by way of ads and only giving parts of some of the bigger porn star scenes.

IIRC most of them are owned by the same companies producing porn. They get ad revenue on those streaming sites

I see. I know a lot of companies tend to complain about piracy, but does it really have THAT big of a negative effect on them? Or would you say it's an overblown complaint?

they have arrangements with most of the biggest ones, nearly all of whom are owned by the same company anyway, to only share their own trimmed down versions

i once bought a $10 membership for a month to a particular site and downloaded around 1TB of vids, then closed out the acct after

i think advertisers are the big payers.
