I've experienced this on and on throughout my life but I've never had any of the weird sensations or visions, just being stuck in between awake and asleep unable to do anything before drifting back to sleep and waking up again.

I've had it three times this week and now I'm having the distinct sensation that there is a cold hand running all over my body. I sleep on my side so I can never see it but I feel someone or something standing behind me. This time I was like, okay fuck this I'm jumping up and doing something, only to be unable to do anything until I just fall asleep. I was just laying there for what seemed like an eternity being stroked by a cold hand.

On top of that, it's frustrating as fuck because it's hard to get a good night's sleep with that shit. I have to get up for work in thirty minutes and I feel like I haven't slept at all even though I went out at some point around 12:30, five and a half hours ago.

i've had it like a dozen times. freaked the hell out of me the firs time. i had 1 night that i had it like 3-4 times. that sucked.

when i get it i try to force myself to move. usually try and either move your toes or fingers. eventually your body will wake up and you can move.
