you should probably already know your waist measure (for suits and form-fitting shirts and pants), hip measure (for pants), and you can pretty much take a good educated guess at your neck measurement I guess?

I don't have a clue. Unflexed I have a six pack visible though, I have seen pictures of people with that up to 16% BF I also seen people with that around 12%. I drink everyday, about a year ago I was under 8% because I didn't drink at all. I still wasn't peaking due to not working out.

This calculator is stupid. Dexa scan is most accurate but skinfold calipers will also work.

That said I'm at 8%bf

If you get it done by an actual machine it's very informative. I learned a lot about myself from visceral fat level, which limbs are stronger than the other, skeletal muscle mass, extracellular water to total body water analysis and much more.

uh yeah, of course dexa scan is more accurate. that doesn't mean this is stupid. The navy bf calculation, as I've said, is highly accurate.

Not how it works, but all those charts and pictures aren't exactly accurate.

Depends how a person stores fat, how visible their abs are and generally who you ask.

Visible abs on a empty stomach can be 15%, bone dry dehyrdated af shredded can be 5-8%. Need a picture to really tell.

The only absolutes are if you have visible abs all day, even after high carbs and lots of sodium and retaining water like a camel you're 6-12%. Same situation but striations on shoulders is safe to assume 10%bf max.

If you look into a mirror and a manatee stares back it's safe to assume you're over 25%bf.

I was probably between 6-12 because I drank near 15 bottles a day. I do stay away from sodium because of loss of bone mass.
