Surprisingly funny, good drama, some great action scenes, and CGI Peter Cushing was pretty good. There were plenty of dull scenes, though, and some dull characters. 6/10.

CG Tarktark was really only given away by his totally robotic movement.
It's kinda weird, really, that they managed to make such great models, textures and even poses but then just gave it the laziest animations ever. Looks like they didn't even mocap it. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

It was quite a bit better than ep 7. Probably my third fav movie after 4 and 5.

I liked Jyn, Vader and K-2SO but it was not only the first SW movie, but the first movie in a long while where I couldn't wait for it to end, yet still felt it was rushed.
Lack of staples like lightsabers and absolutely NO classic tunes kind of killed it for me. --- It all just disappears, doesn't it? Everything you are, gone in a moment, like breath on a mirror. - The Doctor ... Copied to Clipboard!

Music was a buzzkill. Started off classic but devolved into degeneracy.
