Star Wars: Dawn of the Jedi - Into the Void by Tim Lebbon

Its a Legends book so its not canon. Interesting stuff in here because its the first book in the old EU timeline so you have je'daii instead of jedi. They don't have light sabers; instead, they use actual swords. Instead of the light side and dark side they're called ashla and bogan. Also there's no sith organization from what I've read so far. But there are a species of aliens called sith. Which is funny because one of the je'daii masters is a sith. It also looks like the galaxy hasn't figured out hyperspace travel yet. There doesn't seem to be any central form of government either. The je'daii is its own organization and all the planets seem to be doing their own thing.

Neuromancer was one of my favorite novels. The sequel was good too. I never finished the third book in the series, but it was an amazing trilogy from what I've read.
