I noticed nearly every time there's a discussion about race and struggles that minorities are facing, some white person would jump in and say things like:

"I'm Irish", "my great great great auntie/uncle/grandfather was a Native American!", "I'm *insert percentage here* Native American!"

And they often go on a big rant either trying trivialize issues minorities are facing or how whites were oppressed too.

Do you find that annoying? Like what the hell man? Does being Irish or having a tiny percentage of Native American ancestry in you make your argument more valid than others?
