What kind of parent does that?" My father was supportive of my endeavors and i shared the picture with him. There is nothing inappropriate in the picture and those who seek to make it something it is not are merely Trump haters who are using this as an opportunity to stir up drama. I find it hypocritical that those who consider themselves liberal would criticize a woman embracing her body and their father being proud of them looking like me. It's a far cry from Thora Birch's dad just stopping short of nailing her with how obsessed he was with her nude/sex scenes, ultimately destroying her career by grossing out or annoying everyone.

The picture itself is not offensive but rather the fact that her own father has posted it, is where the offense lies.
And we need only common sense to understand why it's raising some eyebrows. He's proud of her. I understand that. I think it's a wonderful thing for a father to be proud of his daughter's achievements. But of all the pictures he could've shared, the question begs to be asked: Why did it have to be this one? Fathers traditionally protect their family's chastity, innocence etc etc. And I understand that the modern world is changing but that's not to say that all traditions are rubbish. A father and daughter's relatiolship is supposed to be filled with love, trust, respect and innocence. Any sexual imagery isn't to be associated with this relationship at all and this is what this picture paints for everyone to see. For me, personally I do not care as it doesn't affect me personally. But from a bystander's POV, I believe it to be innapropriate as there are hundreds of options to have been had and instead, he chose this picture.
