Current Events > Question for those who played through Skyward Sword. *spoilers*

The first time you played it, did anyone else think that Zelda being put into sleep around the middle of the game was going to be the explanation for Zelda 2's "original princess" backstory? I certainly did, considering how many connections and references to "future" Zelda games it made beforehand and its place as an "origin story."

Of course, that idea was shattered towards the end of the game when her sleep was broken. But I thought it would've been a nice connection, even if it meant being a bit melancholy.
