I hate this crap.

Also it takes all day to get an oil change, and we'll be out of town after noon, they're closed tomorrow because of cancerlady's day and I need the car on Monday so I guess I just won't get it done.

It takes like 40 minutes to change your oil. Drain the Oil, change the filter, put in the new oil and you're done.

If you're implying I could do it myelf, you're grossly underestimating my capability to break things.

It's a very simple operation that at its most complex involves unscrewing two things and screwing them back on.

YouTube it. You can even find a video of your exact car most likely.

You won't break things. The oil change process was designed to be layman friendly.

I was able to change the oil on my car a few months ago despite having literally zero prior knowledge on cars whatsoever. It really is quite simple, all I had to do was watch a YouTube video that guides you step by step. I can almost guarantee that there will be a guide on your specific car on YouTube. Just be careful to properly jack up the car, that's always the most important step. You'll save time and money in the end.
