i don't super understand why he keeps trying to hump us.

he was fixed as a kitten, and he's now over 6 years old. there should be no sexual hormones in his body.

he's the dominate cat in this two cat household. i guess? her cat just hides somewhere all the time and only comes out to eat, occasionally you'll see him snoop around a room but he's very skittish. the two cats don't really interact at all.

he gets a shit ton of affection, so it's not because he wants attention. he's usually just sleeping or playing with milk caps or staring out a window.

he has no reason to try and get some fuck, and he tries.

earlier he was trying to get busy on my wifes arm, ad whe she went to move it to push him onto the floor he latched on and bit the shit out of her wrist.

and every time you make him stop, either by pushing him away or smacking his head, he looks around and then runs away looking guilty. like he knows he shouldn't be doing it.

@Doctor_Foxx
explain why my cat is a lil freak

@Zangulus you got a bunch of cats too maybe you can help

Is your other cat fixed?

yes, and he's about 11.

Are there any female cats outside the house?

it's certainly possible. there's quite a few stray cats around, ad more than a few of them that have feline leukemia which is why he isn't allowed to go outside, and hasn't since we moved here about two ina half, three years ago.

(he was super not happy about that for a few months, but seems to be fine with it now)

Maybe he's been shagging some female cats with no repercussions and you removed his source. Now he needs to find his fix somewhere else.

My little 2 year old (neutered) cat humps a blanket any time he gets really excited from being pet. He doesn't hump me though. One thing he will do on occasion is bite and pull my neck hair like he's trying to get it on

Most likely they got all your cat's gonads with the neuter. He could be cryptorchid with a little nut hiding inside.

Is this all new behavior?

Edit: oh I see that it is. Hmm. A baby is a big change and it tends to affect cats for a while.
