President Trummp allegedly demanded James Comey pledge LOYALTY to HIM during a private dinner at the White House back in January according to associates..but James Comey declined TWICE to do so which apparently angered the president after he summoned him for a one on one private dinner.

Trump pressed him on whether that would be "honest loyalty" to which Comey said "you will have that" and now it appears that dinner sealed his fate

This version of events is vastly different from what Trump himself said to Lester Holt which he said "I had a dinne with him. He wanted to have dinner because he wanted to stay on. We had a very nice dinner at the White House. A dinner was arranged, i think he asked for dinner and he wanted to sta on as head of the FBI. And i said i'll consider and we'll see what happens but we had a very nice dinner and he told me 'you are not under investigation'"

Trump said he asked comeny once over dinner and twice by phone if the FBI was investigating him as part of collusion with Russia and showed no concern that the request could be viewed as interference in the active FBI probe.

At the same time he declared he was firing Comey all along and said he criticized him over last year's handling of Hillary Clinton's emails and dismissed the "made up story" over his collusion with Russia...

He said Comey was a showboat and grandstander that added mounting chaos in the West Wing over the timing of the firing

Not even Mike Pence was spared the embarrassment of having told the events of the firing as they said the firing was acting on behalf of Rosensteina and AG Jeff Sessions but acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe strongly disputed that as he said Comey had broad support within the FBI and still does.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders insisted that "countless" members of the FBI welcomed the president's decisions as she was grilled over the firing.

The relationship was strained early on in part of Trump's claim that Barack Obama wiretapped Trump Tower and Comey found no founding of that claim.
