Here are our GOTYs for each year:
2010: Mass Effect 2 (runner up: Super Mario Galaxy 2) 2011: Skyrim (runner up: Skyward Sword) 2012: Borderlands 2 (runner up: Xenoblade Chronicles) 2013: A Link Between Worlds (runner up: The Last of Us) 2014: Super Smash Bros for 3DS/Wii U (runner up: Dragon Age Inquisition) 2015: The Witcher 3 (runner up: Fallout 4) 2016: Final Fantasy XV (runner up: Pokemon Sun/Moon) Looks like it with that as its main competition. Nintendo fans have a way of grossly overstating how popular their favorites are among the larger audience. Not that it isn't the biggest Zelda in a long time, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was only Wind Waker level. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

I made this topic without rallying in mind. However, if you want to include it go ahead.
Also BotW has definitely hit big with the general audience. It dominated E3 talk, got a huge attach rate on a big console launch, is the top rated game of the year and a big seller. No overstatements needed. Anyway, if we want to talk rallies, I want to see the Dark Souls rally. --- I just decided to change this sig. So yeah. ... Copied to Clipboard!
