-Assassin's Creed Unity - $15.99
-Assassin's Creed Syndicate - $31.99

To be fair, the triple pack is usually $89.99, but I see your point regardless.

Usually, buying just Black Flag and Unity would be $60, so you would which is $30 cheaper than the Triple Pack. So normally you would only save $20 (typical of a packaged deal).

But yeah, sales definitely make that stuff weird as hell.

Black Flag and Unity are $40 each in Canada "regular" while Syndicate is still $80 "regular".

So alone the Triple Pack is $70 cheaper than buying all 3 individually at regular price, but the fact the Triple Pack right now is cheaper than buying Syndicate alone is ridiculous.

only worth it if don't own at least syndicate and maybe 1 of the other 2.
it's also the same reason one has to factor in the need when it comes to collections of games.
