I mean, I've had practically 0 before, when I was living with my parents at 18.

Since Ive moved out, the lowest I've hit was probably $50

one time in college I had less than $100 in cash / bank
technically I was ok because I wasn't in debt and I do have a family who'd bail me out if I needed it, but that's the closest i've come to nothing since I became an adult

When I was young and dumb and just took the first quote I got for replacing a battery and alternator.

God, I wish I would've shopped around at least. Lost nearly $2,000 dollars and that was when I only worked part-time.

I got my first job at 16 which was 13 years ago. Ever since I got my first check, I have not been broke since. I've always had enough money to do any and everything I could reasonably want to do as well as take care of unexpected expenses.

The first couple years after college I had many months with like $30 left in the bank. My absolute brokest was $3.41 in the bank. That was a really intense couple weeks.

During the great Obama recession I lost my job, house I was renting, car I was leasing. I remember scrapping together loose change and counting out the exact dollar and tax amount for Taco Bell. Also taking into consideration that bean burritos were the most dense value for the 99 cents.

Lived like that for a bit before going to the DHS and applying for a bridge card to get some groceries.

I was luckily able to get a shitty job working in a paint factory for a month or so before I was able to find a better job in o2 sensor testing.

Since then I've moved on to a rather lucrative career but those were hard times I won't forget.
