thats step one.

step 2 is pay off high interest debt (some credit card purchases we made when we moved. right now its on a intro 0% APR card)

step 3 is 3 months emergency fund.

step 4 is PAY OFF STUDENT LOAANS AHHHHHHHH

anyway hooray for completing step 1!

yeah i dont know how i used to life just spending money all crazy. i go through my expenses and im like wtf was i thinking. all those hats i bought...

but now i have a short term plan and long term plans, i watch our finances and budget, and i make smart, financial decisions.
