I'm sorry, but you're not going to make me flip around alignments for the Developer's idiotic amusement.

Wizardry is stupid hard compared to Dark Souls.

Ah, you stopped just before Wizardry 4, that game makes Wizardry 1-3 feel like playing Doom on God Mode.

I was playing the PS1 versions which I'm sure are not that much different previous iterations, and soon as I noticed all my character reverted back to lvl 1 (as descendants), and being compared to premade lvl 5 characters..that was one strike.

Soon as I entered the dungeon, I got my ass handed to me hundred times over.

I just got sick of it at this point after putting up with Knight of Diamonds, and I've read I would have to change alignments just to navigate lol, fuck that shit.

It's not really that bad. Changing alignments was common back in the day with the Might and Magic franchise.

I've played 1-7 of Might & Magic, the only difference was that MM was not as restrictive to progress the story.

I tried to play 8, but I got bored for some reason, I wish they stuck with the Portrait style that 6 had.

Proving Ground of the Mad Overlord was a fun jaunt. Wizardry 2-5 are a little samey in those regards. It doesn't get much different until you mess with 6 through 8 which are much better games, imo.

Thought tbh my favorite of the series is technically a spin off -- PS2 gem "Tale of the Forsaken Land".

Not really. Wizardry 4 was radically different than 1, 2, 3, and 5.
