I recently started listening to them and I really like their music. I've never been a really big fan of the harsher metal genres but for some reason they clicked for me.

These are some my favourite songs so far.

What are some other songs I should check out, and are their bands similar to Meshuggah that I might be interested in?

Yes

also, the band mostly changed sounds two times, where all albums before Nothing have mostly thrash metal elements (their very first album is basically just thrash with some syncopation) and everything after it sounds closer to the songs you posted

if you're interested in their older material as well, here's some of my suggestions:

I couldn't watch the fourth one on my phone, I'll check that one out later but out of the other ones I like humiliative, New millennium cyanide Christ and perpetual black second.

Also, seems like some of their early stuff was very heavily influenced by metallica. Not that it's a bad thing, but it's very obvious from some of the songs you posted.

You rang? :)

Yeah, I'm a huge fan of Meshuggah. The easiest entry points for albums are Destroy, Erase, Improve and Chaosphere, with Obzen being the most recent that I think is pretty easy to digest right away.

While I love everything they put out, some are a little harder to take at first listen. Both Nothing and Catch Thirty Three take a bit to "get."

If you like DEI, also check out the None EP, which was where I got my start with the band.
