It is worth it plus the game are old with no fancy graphics so you pretty much can run it with anything made past 2010.

Dont have to shell out dedicated gaming pc

The first one is the slowest, but actually it is the general relaxing pace and low key story that got me into it.

Second one is a lot faster wit higher stake, and the third one is basically playing on another level of playing field. Like you start the game at level 90.

I find that the story just bogs down into minutiae way too often.

You just end up reading dialogue boxes of the character engaging in boring small talk for the majority of the game.

That "boring small talk" is what makes the series different from like 99% rpg like this.

It is also a sense of grandiose of the world because it doesn't revolve around like like most jrpg does.

It is a jrpg series with wonderful worldbuilding, characters and story.

The combat is great too and more tactical than usuL turn based jrpg because you can move your character around and positioning matter

Just looked it up on Steam, I love old school-style JRPGs, I'm definitely going to check the series out once I have a bit of extra money.

When you play it, definitely try to speak to all NPCs everytime a major events happen. Try to remember their names and their dialogues. Almost everyone in the game has their own story. Sometimes you can influence then trough a quest, sometimes you just read.

This series is one of my top 5 game series of ALL TIME.

I too am playing through tales three right now. Though I am stopping at each new enemy to farm the 2% super drops
