Like, is it not the natural ambition of humans to do more, to do better? Imagine having a low-skill job and not being able to excel at it, get the attention of your superiors, then summarily assume control via management positions. I refuse to promote a hard worker that can not lead just for the sake of "elevating him". A manager sets the example is someone people can a should rely on.
