I think the most recent game I played was Borderlands 2, which came out in 2012. I honestly don't think I've touched anything newer than that.

So basically I see all these game related memes and twitch streaming and recognise none of it. I just saw a gif of Titanfall 2 and it basically looked like space-age graphics to me O_o

Just different life priorities. I tend to like games that you can really get stuck into (JRPGs, etc), but then I also now have this guilt that kicks in after about an hour where I feel I should be doing something other than stare slackfaced at a screen until my eyes get sore.

I was this way up until recently, but I avtually bought more than one 2016 game.
