Vertania 05/04/17 7:50:16 PM #13:	My gripe with it is that it seems like bands don't try to have a unique sound. Instrumentally, there's too much emphasis on double bass and over the top speed/solos. Not enough focus on riffs. Vocally, I hate anything with "harsh vocals" and growls. I don't pay much attention the specifics of which genre is which, so take that with a grain of salt. Older Opeth, Ne Obliviscaris, Focus-era Cynic, and Black Crown Initiate are among my favorite bands of all time.
