Cause communism won in WW2 so it had the right to morph history to a degree. 100s of millions have died from it, they abandoned the idea it was for workers during mass famine and death and had to latch onto identity politics. In all reality communism had worse results than even nazism yet you can see prominent celebrities push it with support. This guy things Mussolini was a socialist and that Fascism is far left. Pretty much everything around that time was considerably further to the left than it is today. Not really. Some countries were, but there isn't a modern equivalent to Fascism. There were a ton of leftists within Nazism. Mussolini and especially Hitler were not free enterprise dudes. Left/right politics isn't contained to economics. Um a pretty big indicator of right wing politics is constantly extolling the free market ideals. Which Hitler deplored the free market and capitalism. He sought an agrarian total war state.
