Ok, I have a real question...
How do you properly trim frets? I know how to round the edges after they're installed, but getting them the same length as the fret board in the first place confuses me. I've seen videos where they just cut the ends and then grind the sides away down to the sides of the neck, but basically once you get down that deep you're grinding the wood as well and that's bad, and the teeth are still exposed a bit. The alternative is to cut away a little notch before hammering them in, but unless you hammer them in dead center on the first try you have to pull them up and try again, also bad. --- Do unto others what your parents did to you. ...
